Questions and AnswersBack to Main Page |
Here is the most common questions I get asked, and answers to all of them. Please read through this list first before E-mailing me any questions. Any E-mail asking questions that are answered here will not get a response. Q: How much does a fursuit cost?A: Prices can be found on this page : Prices. Prices will vary based on complexity, number of fur colors, and special features (such as horns). Q: Do you take payment plans?A: Yes, I take payment plans with 25% down on premade and commissioned suits. For suits $2,000 and under, they must be fully payed in 3 months. For suits over $2,000 they must be payed off in 6 months. Payment plans can be negotiated depending on your needs. Q: Do you send work-in-progress photos when working on a commission?A: Yes! I send work in progress photos and ask for feedback at major steps along the commission process. I try to keep my clients very involved in the commission process to make sure thier suit turns out just the way they want it. Q: Do you take commissions from minors (those under the age of 18)No, I do not take commissions for minors. Minors may purchase premades from me only with parent's permission. I will ask for ID from every commissioner before I take it on to prove the commissioner's age. Q: What materials do you use in your fursuits?A: I use many different materials in my fursuits. Head bases are hand carved with foam and lined with neoprene (unless other lining fabric or no lining is requested), bodysuits are made out of stretch fur, noses and teeth are hand sculpted polymer clay (painted and sealed) unless otherwise requested. All heads have a zipper in the back. Claws are made out of resin or plastic and are not made in house. Faces are usually a mix of fleece and fur fabric for the skin. Flat eyes are plastic hand cut from a sheet. Follow me eyes are made of a mix of plastic and craft foam. Eyelashes are stiffened felt. Pupils are painted mesh, and adhered to the eye with E600. Q: Do you take parts only/ bodysuit only commissions?A: I usually will not take parts only or bodysuit only commissions unless commission slots have not been filled by partials, heads, and fullsuits. If the que is not filled after an opeing, I will open for small parts commissions and bodysuit only commissions right afterwords. Can you make (insert species here)?A: I can make almost any species, even if I haven't made it before. Q: Can you put fans/ LEDs/ electronics in the head?A: I cannot put fans, LEDs or electronics in the head. If you require a fan in the head for medical reasons, please seek another maker. Q: Do you take trades?A: I almost never take trades. But if I am ever seeking to take a trade I will post about it on my instagram. Do not message or E-mail me independantly seeking a trade. Q: What's the lowest (price) you can go?A: My commission prices are non negotiable. Do not try to negotiate a lower commission price, you will waste both of our time. Q: Can you use fur from (insert supplier here) for the bodysuit?Usually the answer will be no, I can only use stretch fur for most of the bodysuit are there are only a handfull of suppliers. So if you need a fursuit to match the existing parts with fur from howlfabrics, fursuit supplies, ect. please commission another maker Q:Can you make padded bodysuits?A: I am open to doing padded bodysuits experimentally. But if you would like this from me you must understand that I've never done it before so it might not turn out perfectly. Q: I don't have a character reference, can I still commission you? (artistic liberty commissions)A: If you don't have a character reference, you can only commission me for an artist liberty fursuit. This means I will design the character and you will have no imput during the process beyond giving me the species, a color you want in the design, and the gender you want it to be. If you need a character reference sheet, there are plenty of free bases you can color in yourself. Just try searching "(species) free to use furry base" |
